Terms of service
Last updated September 14, 2026
These terms govern use of the Arbitir service provided by Arbitir Inc ("Arbitir", "we"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent. If your organization has a signed agreement with Arbitir, that agreement governs where the two differ.
The service
Arbitir connects an organization's AI usage data to its people, teams, budgets, and business outcomes, and keeps a ledger of the capital decisions made with it. Access is granted to organizations we have accepted; we may decline or end access at our discretion, and we will say so.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for what is done with it. Keep your sign-in private. Tell us at hello@arbitir.ai if you believe it has been used without your permission.
Your data and your systems
You keep every right to the data you connect or import. You grant Arbitir the right to store and process it only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy policy. You confirm that you are permitted to connect each system you connect and to share the data it returns, and that doing so complies with your own policies and the terms of the provider. Arbitir reads usage metadata and never reads prompts, completions, or conversation content; you agree not to attempt to use the service to do so.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to interfere with the service or another customer's use of it, to probe or circumvent its security, or to access data that is not your organization's. Do not resell the service or use it to build a competing one.
Provider actions
Where the service can change a setting at a provider, such as a spend limit, it does so only when someone in your organization with the right role approves that change, and every such change is recorded on the ledger. Arbitir is not responsible for how a provider applies a limit or for a provider's own outages, pricing, or changes.
Fees
Fees, if any, are as set out in the order form or agreement between your organization and Arbitir. Without one, the service is provided at no charge during the access period we have offered.
Arbitir's property
The service, its design, and its software belong to Arbitir Inc and its licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service, not ownership of it. Feedback you give us may be used without obligation.
Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only for the purposes of the service. This does not cover information that is public, already known, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.
Readings are not advice
The figures the service produces are readings of the data it was given. Where a figure puts spend beside an outcome, it carries a stated evidence class and its uncertainty, and none of them is a claim of cause. They are provided to inform your decisions, not to make them, and they are not financial, legal, or accounting advice.
Warranty
The service is provided as is. We will provide it with reasonable skill and care, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any figure will match a provider's invoice to the cent. To the extent permitted by law, all other warranties are excluded.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from the service. Each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid or payable by your organization in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars if none were payable. These limits do not apply to a breach of confidentiality, to misuse of the other party's data, or to anything that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and close your organization at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where we can give it. On ending, we delete your organization's data as described in the privacy policy, and the sections that by their nature should survive, including confidentiality, liability, and Arbitir's property, survive.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and a change that materially affects your organization is announced to administrators by email at least thirty days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
